Choose your system

On-Grid, Off-Grid, or Hybrid?

Each solar system type is designed for different needs. We'll help you choose the right one during your consultation.

On-Grid

Reduce your bill with net metering

An on-grid (grid-tied) system connects directly to the utility grid. Solar power generated during the day reduces your consumption from the grid, and any surplus is fed back (net metering). Best for homes and businesses that want to reduce electricity bills where grid supply is mostly reliable.

  • Reduces electricity bill
  • Net metering — sell surplus to grid
  • Works during grid outages
  • Requires battery storage
  • Lower upfront cost

Best for: Homes & offices with reliable grid supply

Most Popular

Hybrid

Best of both worlds — grid + battery

A hybrid system connects to the grid AND has battery storage. Solar powers your home during the day, charges the battery, and connects to the grid for net metering. During power cuts, the battery provides backup. Increasingly popular in Hyderabad for both bill savings and backup.

  • Reduces electricity bill
  • Net metering — sell surplus to grid
  • Works during grid outages
  • Battery storage included
  • Maximum energy independence

Best for: Homes & offices wanting bill savings + power backup

Off-Grid

Complete independence from the grid

An off-grid system operates entirely independently, powered by solar panels and a battery bank. No grid connection required. Ideal for remote locations, farmhouses, and areas with unreliable or absent grid supply. Higher upfront cost but zero electricity bill.

  • Zero electricity bill
  • Works without grid connection
  • Full energy independence
  • Large battery bank required
  • Net metering (no grid connection)

Best for: Farmhouses, remote locations, areas with no grid supply

Common questions

Solar FAQs

Yes — Hyderabad receives approximately 5.5–6 peak sun hours per day, making it one of the better solar locations in India. A well-designed system in Hyderabad can generate substantial savings on your electricity bill year-round.
An on-grid system connects to the utility grid — excess solar power is sent back to the grid (net metering), but there is no backup during grid outages. An off-grid system operates independently with battery storage, providing backup but at higher cost. A hybrid system combines both: it connects to the grid for net metering benefits while also having battery backup for power cuts. For most Hyderabad homes and offices, a hybrid system offers the best of both worlds.
Standard on-grid systems do NOT work during power cuts (they shut down for safety). Only off-grid and hybrid systems with battery storage continue to power your home during outages. If uninterrupted power is important, a hybrid system is the right choice.
As a general rule, each kilowatt (kW) of solar capacity requires approximately 80–100 square feet of shadow-free rooftop space. A typical 3 kW residential system needs around 250–300 sq ft. We assess your rooftop during the free consultation.
Solar panels still generate power on overcast days, though at reduced efficiency (typically 10–25% of peak output). In a hybrid or on-grid system, the grid supplements any shortfall automatically. Hyderabad's extended sunny seasons mean annual yield is rarely significantly impacted by the monsoon months.
Our process has three stages: (1) Free Consultation — we assess your rooftop, electricity bills, and requirements; (2) Installation — our certified engineers install the panels, inverter, and wiring, typically completed in 1–2 days for residential systems; (3) After-Service — we provide commissioning support, warranty service, and ongoing maintenance assistance.
